29 Acre’s living community is located in Crossroads Texas approximately 30 miles north of Dallas. Located near the shores of Lake Lewisville, 29 Acres is a quiet community yet is only minutes away from the University of North Texas and all the major services and activities of the Dallas metroplex. It is easily accessible from several highways serving the North Texas area.
Position Summary

As a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) overseeing residential care for adults with ASD, you will play a crucial role in managing multiple houses and supporting a team of dedicated employees. Your responsibilities include designing and implementing behavior intervention plans, conducting staff training, and ensuring the overall well-being of residents. With a focus on individualized care and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment, you will contribute to the quality of life and development of adults with ASD in the residential setting.

Position Qualifications
  • Required: Masters Degree in Special Education, School Administration, Public Administration, Applied Behavior Analysis, Counseling, or similar field
  • Required: BCBA Certification
  • Required: Up to date CPR/First Aid, CPI or Safety Care
  • Preferred: ANE, HIPAA Trainings
  • Required: Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
  • Required: Must hold a valid Texas driver’s license and possess an acceptable driving record.
Responsibilities
Operational Responsibilities
  • Client/House assignments are determined by the Director of Enrich and are subject to change based on Program/Client needs.
  • Programming:
    • Ensure client programming is achieved in the least restrictive environment, applying 29 Acres core values.
    • Promote Naturalistic learning opportunities.
    • Monitor client programming for progress. Looks for ways to enhance programming and push programming forward. Collaborate with the Director and other BCBAs on ideas.
    • Create behavior plans to address barriers that limit ability to function and quality of life.
    • Teach social skills including independent living classes as needs arise per client.
    • Help to create partnerships with surrounding communities that enhance client programming.
    • Serve as the liaison to other teams and programs in order to expand the opportunities for your caseload.
  • Parent Communication:
    • Attending and leading client circles of support meetings.
    • Maintain an appropriate level of communication with parents as established during the circle of support and by using our communication guidelines policy.
    • Conduct initial assessments and ongoing assessments through client duration at 29. Keep clients BIP and program goals current.
    • Be available to address problem behaviors during emergency context.
  • Staff and Direct Reports:
    • Supervise a group of Enrich Coordinators and work in tandem to achieve overall house success.
    • Facilitate 30-60-90 and onboarding training for direct reports (subject to change)
    • Ongoing training for direct reports and direct staff (to be defined)
    • Lead regular 1:1 meeting with direct report(s)
    • To ensure training for all staff/all shifts, schedule yourself using the block scheduling outline and add it to the BCBA calendar (New)
    • Ensure Coordinators have company training (HIPAA Safety Care, Medication, CPR/1st Aid,) and RBT documented in Paycor and maintained (subject to change following onboarding process revision)
    • Perform direct reports’ Annual Reviews, Goal Setting, Coaching, and Reprimand. Documented in Paycor
    • Write ups when necessary, holding your team to the standards and expectations of 29 Acres. When warranted, collaborate with HR, help create improvement plans for direct reports. All to be documented in Paycor.
    • Ensure clients programing is being executed as written, including BIP.
    • Understand the enrich budget for social and programming needs and strive to stay within
    • Participate in all House /client team meetings.
    • Participate in new hire interviews when necessary.
    • In addition to house coordinators, train and provide supervision for RBTs and BCBAs in training.
    • Help to ensure new hire training and ongoing training for all staff and direct reports.

  • Uphold ethical standards and a commitment to social responsibility, aligning management decisions with the organization's values.
