Don't worry the uniforms are provided! POSITION SUMMARY: This position acts as an information source for employees with routine HR and general resort-related questions. Daily management of all employee information by using a variety of most recent HRIS (UltiPro). Responsible for all employee paperwork and information data entry, file upkeep and accuracy. Manages HRIS data entry for Winter Park Operations, Winter Park Lodging, IRG Restaurants and Retail. Is first point of contact and general information for Winter Park/Alterra Seasonal Perks & Benefits including Real Deals, payroll, and all other related programs. Familiar or able to become familiar with federal, state and company employment rules and regulations to ensure that they are administered and enforced fairly and properly. Maintains a positive, upbeat, and professional attitude dealing with guests to the executive offices and human resources. Works with a spirit of excellence. Able to provide support in other HR disciplines including Training(employee orientations), employee engagement(recognition events, employee appreciation dinners, etc.), Payroll & Benefits, and Recruiting as needed. The HR Coordinator will follow all Winter Park policies and procedures, all applicable laws (federal, state, and local), and all health and sanitation codes. WAGE: The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of Winter Park Resorts' hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Winter Park Resorts' total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits. Hourly Range: $20.00 -$22.00 ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Daily processing of employee paperwork and processes for onboarding and offboarding by using the current HRIS system, E-Verify, and RTP in accordance with the standard operating procedures manual. Check for completeness and consistency of wages, status, and job titles. Contact supervisors with any discrepancies. Ensures all employment paperwork filing is up to date both physically and electronically. Conducts audits and ensures file retention is within legal regulations. Ensures all I-9 filing is up to date, and within regulations. Assists with the annual audit. Trouble-shoot and research questions to resolve problems with paperwork and/or UltiPro timekeeping. Contact the supervisor to clarify inaccuracies of unclear information or to answer questions. Must resolve conflicts amicably and communicate problems with supervisors diplomatically. Able to assist with delivering, or performing general administrative work related to employee orientations, events, and employee surveys. Exercise discretion and strict confidentiality with all information including but not limited to sensitive personal information, wage data, and medical information. Process over the phone employment verifications and complete written verifications Answer the phone for the Human Resources department Print Season Passes/Timecards using RTP Keep front office organized, filing paperwork where appropriate, and maintaining the Onboarding queue to ensure employees are hired in a timely manner. Assisting & supporting front line staff, especially during peak resort times. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of previous office/clerical experience, preferably in a Human Resource environment. UltiPro, Workday, Kronos and/or other HRIS experience preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer functionality required. Desktop publishing and database management software programs experience preferred. Qualifications and Skills: Knowledge of Immigration Reform Act, Employment Law, Wage and Hour Law, PPACA, FMLA, FLSA and EEO-AAP desirable. Ability to communicate and work with all levels of staff from seasonal to management professionally, required. Bi-lingual is a plus. Must demonstrate ability to quickly learn those applications not known. Ability to maintain positive and professional attitude at all times. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS: Office Environment: Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 20 pounds on an occasional basis. Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other common office equipment on a constant basis. Auditory and visual acuity to operate computers, phones, mobile devices and basic office equipment on a constant basis. Ability to work for extended periods of time sitting, bending, reaching, and speaking on a constant basis. Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, walking, kneeling, pushing and pulling on an occasional basis. Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees.
