1st Financial Bank USA (1FBUSA), focuses on establishing and maintaining credit card relationships on a nationwide basis to the U.S. college and graduate student market and is currently hiring for a Financial Analyst.

Location: Dakota Dunes, SD

Job Overview:

The Financial Analyst is responsible for assisting the Finance Department in providing proactive and accurate financial and business analysis that allows management to effectively manage and foster business growth and development. The position also assists in the management of 1FBUSA’s financial reporting and analysis functions and provides financial management services and support to operating business units. They are responsible for aiding in the modeling for the monthly financial forecasts and other related duties. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in the ongoing evaluation and analysis of operating business units using financial analysis and modeling tools.
  • Assist with the on-going update and maintenance of the budget/forecasting and reporting databases.
  • Participates with the development, implementation, and ongoing coordination of 1FBUSA’s budget and financial planning processes 
  • Assist with the production of monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting
  • Performs financial modeling: “what-if scenarios”. 
  • Assists with financial modeling and projections. 
  • Handle various immediate projects as required

Qualifications: Education:  BS/BA degree in Finance, Accounting, math or one of the physical sciences. Experience:  No experience required Language/Reasoning/Mathematical or other specific skills: Must possess excellent verbal, written, strong analytical and mathematical skills. Ability to handle change, work independently or part of a team, and has a self-starting attitude. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required.
