You get the picture...Here’s to living it up with a beer in hand. Cheers! ROLE SUMMARY: 10 Barrel Brewing Company is looking for an EHS Supervisor to join our team in Bend, OR! The Environmental Health and Safety Supervisor will be accountable for directing and implementing all Company environmental health and safety programs, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, standards and requirements. They will be relied upon to establish a proactive safety environment and culture. JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for and develops the safety improvement initiatives and the daily management of ongoing safety and environmental operations. Provide leadership, insight, training, and information for senior management team regarding the Safety and Environmental strategic objectives and regulatory compliance issues. Basic understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations and their programs such as (LOTO, Powered Industrial Trucks, Title V, waste water permits, hazardous waste, etc.) Leads environmental and sustainability community outreach programs that contribute to the company’s image. Champions utility usage reduction and process improvement initiatives. Directs activities to conduct investigations, identify root cause and recommend corrective measures Lead team of hourly and salary employees to continuously improve safety and environmental compliance and achievement. Represents the facility to external regulatory agencies and supports the negotiation of penalties Directs activities to compile EHS information and other data as required by Zone, State and Federal agencies Contributes to the overall needs and objectives of the department Team building – ability to involve employees and the leadership team in the process JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Environmental, or related discipline 3 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing facility. Training experience required. Ability to collaboratively work with all levels of the organization Strong interpersonal and communication skills, strong leadership skills, a comfort level with change, and the ability to lead change Working knowledge of government regulations (i.e., OSHA, EPA, etc.) Ability to interpret regulatory requirements (federal, state, and provincial) and apply them to the workplace Effective decision making and a willingness to use available resources to accomplish goals Acts with integrity in all EHS matters to maintain EHS compliance and excellence Ability to lead teams and facilitate effective meetings Investigative, analysis and problem-solving skills BENEFITS: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, and Life insurance 401k matching up to 6% 7 paid company holidays Paid vacation and sick time off Employee Assistance Program Eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and business performance Free beer and merchandise discounts available Pub Discounts Events!
