Job Title: Registered Nurse Rehab

Job Location: Torrance, CA 90503

Job Type: Contract -13 weeks

Job Duties:

• Educate the patient's family on the patient's medical condition.
• Coordinate nursing care activities in collaboration with other members of the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.
• Advises patients of anticipated gain and possible risks associated with program, obtains prerequisite written order diagnostics and informed consent.
• Develops individualized, result-oriented plan of care in corporation with client, referring physician.
• Completes assigned data collection, documents patient outcomes, and otherwise demonstrates progress towards benchmarks.
• Provides formal and informal instruction in rehabilitation concepts under the direction of the manager of cardiac rehabilitation and wellness.

• REHAB/SUB ACUTE on TCU
• Skilled Nursing facility covers all system diagnosis and follows certain admit criteria. No custodial / long term care.
• TCU is a SNF and therefore the average nurse to patient ratio is 8:1.
• TCC/TCU is a distinct part of LCM - sub acute care and has an 87-bed capacity and are focused on rehabilitation of patient.
• Ratios - 1:8-10
• 1 year of experience Reqired
• First-timers accepted - No
• Certs Reqirement - BCLS
• Locals accepted -Yes.

Schedule:

• Night Shift
• 23:00 - 07:30
• 5x8
• 40 hours per week
• Weekend Reqirement - Every Other
