Job Title: Sr. Desktop Support Technician

Job Location: The Dalles, OR 97058

Job Type: Contract

Job Duties:

• Provides advanced-level application support to employees.
• Maintains personal computers and related hardware.
• Assists Network Engineers with installation of software and hardware.
• Performs advanced-level computer system maintenance, repairs, and installations. Monitors and controls computer equipment by operating the central console or an online monitor.
• Monitors hardware systems using operating systems utilities.
• Actively identifies problems in the department, reports them to the supervisor, pursues feedback, and actively participates in resolution methods.
• Analyzes existing methods and develop alternatives to increase operations and production efficiency.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Education and Work Experience:

• High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
• Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
• Two years' technical experience: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

• Dell certification: Preferred
• Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) - Infrastructure and Desktop: Preferred
• CompTIA Certifications: Preferred

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Mon-Fri
• 8AM-5PM
