Position can be based either in Boston or San Jose Seeking a strategic and operationally focused finance leader with the business acumen and leadership skills to influence and drive change across the global enterprise. Reporting directly to the CFO, this executive will partner closely with the EVP of Global Operations, supporting internal and external manufacturing ops nd R&D, supply chain, quality, and global facilities. This person will play a critical role in the global operations long term strategy, as well as contribute to day-to-day operations, responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive growth, maximize profitability, and identify end-to-end manufacturing optimization opportunities, driving financial transparency across the enterprise. Leader must be proficient at developing relationships and demonstrate the ability to lead teams directly and influence cross functionally. This person should be quick to identify and leverage best practices, systems and processes to favorably impact the business and P&L. Key Responsibilities Include, but not limited to: Act as the key financial and strategic business partner to the EVP of Global Operations; helping develop and execute the long-range strategy & associated operating plans Manage a large, global finance team with presences in US, EMEA, Asia Responsible for cradle to grave manufacturing finance, including FP&A inputs on key financial metrics including gross margin, COGS, global capex, Inventory / DOI Own cost accounting, responsible for global standard product costing along with E&O Inventory reserves, inventory valuation, and royalty processes Actively participate, track/manage Supply Chain cost improvements. Challenge the status quo and put creative /actionable ideas on the table. Critical thinking and analytical capability to provide insightful analysis. Lead and manage overall global operations annual and periodic budget and forecast processes; partnering with the operations and corporate leadership teams Candidate Qualifications Possess problem solving and analytical skills, with an attention to detail Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills Ability to formulate and craft C-level narrative and messages Ability to lead and adapt through rapidly changing situations and conditions Ability to hire and groom a high performing global finance team Track record of successfully influencing business partners, along with across company orgs For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
