What You Will Contribute: The IT Onboarding Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring a seamless and efficient onboarding process for new employees, enabling them to quickly integrate into our organization and become productive members of our team. They will also play a critical role in ensuring a seamless and efficient offboarding process for departing employees and their managers. Job Duties: New Hire Orientation: Facilitate IT orientation sessions for new employees, providing an overview of company IT policies, procedures, and resources. Hardware and Software Provisioning: Coordinate the procurement, setup, and configuration of hardware (laptops, desktops, mobile devices, etc.) and software applications required for new employees User Account Management: Create and manage user accounts across various systems and applications, ensuring access permissions are aligned with job responsibilities and security policies. Technical Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for new employees regarding IT-related issues and provide timely resolution or escalation as needed. Documentation and Training: Develop and maintain onboarding documentation, training materials, and knowledge base articles to support new employees in navigating IT systems and tools. Process Improvement: Continuously assess and enhance the onboarding process to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall employee experience. Collaboration: Partner with HR, hiring managers, and other departments to coordinate onboarding activities and ensure a coordinated and cohesive onboarding experience for new employees. Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to IT security and data privacy during the onboarding process. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or related field required 3 years of related experience in IT operations or service desk preferred Qualifications: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the organization required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment required. Strong knowledge of IT systems, hardware, software, and networking concepts. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Experience with user account management, Active Directory, and cloud-based productivity tools.
