Job Title: Technical Product Owner

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Product Owner with a specialization in DevOps to join our dynamic and innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for defining, prioritizing, and driving the development of DevOps-related products and solutions that streamline our software development and deployment processes. As a bridge between technical teams and stakeholders, you will play a pivotal role in aligning our product roadmap with business objectives and ensuring the successful implementation of DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Vision: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for DevOps-related solutions, aligning them with the organization's strategic goals.
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and business stakeholders, to gather and define product requirements.
  • Product Backlog: Maintain a prioritized product backlog that reflects business needs and technical requirements for DevOps initiatives.
  • Roadmap Planning: Create and manage a detailed product roadmap, ensuring that it aligns with the overall product and technology strategy.
  • Release Planning: Work closely with development teams to plan and execute releases, including feature prioritization, sprint planning, and ensuring that releases are on track.
  • User Stories: Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed technical requirements to guide development teams in building DevOps solutions.
  • Feedback Loop: Establish a feedback loop with stakeholders, customers, and end-users to gather input and feedback on DevOps products and features.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical, operational, and business concerns, ensuring a holistic approach to DevOps product development.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that products meet quality and performance standards by collaborating with QA and testing teams.
  • Documentation: Create comprehensive product documentation, including user guides and release notes.
  • Market Analysis: Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for product enhancements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing data and feedback to refine product features and drive better performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role, focusing on DevOps products and solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, tools, and methodologies, including CI/CD, containerization, automation, and orchestration.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience in agile product development environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality products.
  • Certification in DevOps or related fields (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of software development and engineering practices is highly desirable.
  • Strong project management skills, including proficiency with project management tools and methodologies.
