As Head of Development - Americas, I will fully comprehend the vision of Six Senses to help people reconnect with themselves, others and the world around them and our values of local sensitivity and global sensibility, crafted experiences, emotional hospitality, responsible and caring, fun and quirky and pioneering wellness.

Sustainability, Wellness and Out of the Ordinary experiences are at the core of everything we do at Six Senses. I will safeguard these pillars and its strategic planning and development and ensure all directives, practices and initiatives are implemented, embraced, adopted within the resorts.

As the Head of Development, I’m responsible for implementing the development strategy in the region and to secure the growth of Six Senses with the signing of hotel management contracts. As part of my role I shall coordinate a cross-department work force to accomplish the objectives. I will also supervise the Development executive(s) and manager(s) in their daily work.

Specifically, I will perform the following key tasks to the highest standards:

• Responsible for the development of Six Senses Hotels, Resorts and Branded Residences globally, with as special focus on new markets where the company is not yet present
• Sourcing new management opportunities
• Contract negotiation (Management Agreements)
• Preparation of Investment Analysis reports
• Site appraisal and feasibility study (business plan)
• Develop and maintain relation with Owners and Investors
• Spokesperson for the company at selected event, conference and speaking opportunities

Qualifications:

To execute the position of Head of Development - Americas, the successful candidate will have extensive work experience across the hospitality, real estate and finance sectors throughout the region. The candidate will have a career in hospitality advisory, corporate real estate consulting and market research which has resulted in a strong knowledge of real estate including Office, Retail, Industrial, Residential and in particulate, Hotels and Hospitality.
