Delta Hotels by Marriott – Anaheim is searching for a talented and motivated Sales Coordinator. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and reliable!
Responsibilities:
· Identify the client’s requirements and expectations for each event.
· Liaise with vendors, exhibitors, and stakeholders during the event planning process to ensure everything is in order.
· Manage all event set-up, tear down, and follow-up processes.
· Conduct final inspections on the day of the event to ensure everything adheres to the client’s standards.
· Assess an event’s overall success and submit findings.
Requirements:
· Knowledge and experience with MARSHA and OPERA
· Well-organized with excellent multi-tasking abilities.
· Outstanding vendor management skills.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Excellent attendance record

-Answer incoming phone calls
-Build room blocks
-Generate, change and cancel group room reservations
LANGUAGE ABILITY: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
AVAILABILITY: Eight (8) hours Monday – Friday.
