Chick-fil-A at Fox Chapel is Hiring an Assistant Shift Manager Near Pittsburgh, PA
Pay Type: From $18.00 - $20.00/hr
Position Type:
- Full-Time (40 hours) or Part-Time (20 - 30 hours)
- Available for Opening Shifts (6:00 AM - 3:00 PM) or Closing Shifts (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)
- Working Front-of-House OR Back-of-House

- Experience as a leader, with a proven ability to lead in fast-paced environments, and work as part of a team
- Basic computer and iPad competency
- Ability to input data and interpret the P/L
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position which includes, but is not limited to standing for up to 10 hours and lifting up to 50lbs
Responsibilities:
- Works with Senior Leadership team to ensure appropriate daily and restaurant staffing levels
- Ensures that the shifts are running smoothly in the BOH or FOH
- Trains new Team Members and tracks their performance to ensure they’re equipped for success
- Maintains a positive working relationship and treats all employees with respect while handling coaching conversations and providing them with direction and feedback
- Ensures that all food safety guidelines are followed
- Ensures cleanliness of all areas of the restaurant
- Motivates Team Members to upsell, reduce waste, and increase accuracy
- Serves as subject matter expert of the BOH or FOH to provide ongoing support
- Responsible for inventory management, and ensures the products are being rotated using the FIFO principle
- Protect and demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
- Follow Chick-fil-A’s operational policies and procedures
