Christ the King Parish in Denver is seeking a Director of Evangelization to work with middle, high school students and young adults in a wide variety of activities such as group building, worship, discipleship, mission, outreach etc. to make young disciples of Jesus Christ.

• Helping parishioners to be Eucharistic people in coordinating parish life and events.
• Develop and facilitate evangelization and faith formation programming for young adults and older adults
• Inspiring, encouraging, and developing a relationship with God, the Church, and others
• Providing opportunities for spiritual growth and fully developed human person in body and spirit
• Challenging our youth to respond to God’s call to Christian service in their communities
• Helping our youth to understand and observe the Word of God, the Teachings of the Church, Catholic cultures, and traditions
• Coordinating archdiocesan/national event such as Steubenville of the Rockies, Mountain Madness, World Youth Day, March for Life, 6th Grade Conference, etc.)
• Developing students and adult youth leaders

• Be a fully initiated Catholic in the communion of the Catholic Church and intentionally living out the five precepts of the Church (CCC 2041-2043)
• Refrain from promotion or approval of, or the living out of, and conduct or lifestyle that would reflect discredit or disgrace on, or cause scandal in relationship to, the Archdiocese of Denver, or considered to be in contradiction with Catholic doctrine or morals
• Bachelor of Arts Degree or higher in Religious Education, theology, or similar discipline
• Ability to speak effectively before groups and facilitate small group discussion
• Must demonstrate appropriate skills in oral and written communication
• Must be organized and flexible
• Requisite technology skills
• An eagerness and ability to engage on social platforms
• Ability to provide compassionate attention to people in need
• Able and willing to maintain privileged information confidentiality
