Agillitics’ Sr. Director, Cloud Data is part of the leadership team and is responsible for defining and implementing the cloud data architecture, data governance, data engineering, integration and interoperability strategy and solutions, data analytics, and data privacy across Agillitics supply chain data solutions. You will also collaborate with other internal leaders, customer business and IT stakeholders, and external partners to deliver data-driven solutions that support our strategic goals and objectives.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the data strategy and roadmap for our data solutions, aligning with the business vision and priorities.
• Establish and maintain the data architecture, data governance, data engineering, integration and interoperability standards, policies, and best practices.
• Ensure that all data-related code is optimized for performance and scalability.
• Lead and manage a team of data architects, data engineers, data analysts, and data scientists, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management.
• Oversee the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of data platforms, data pipelines, data warehouses, data lakes, data marts, data catalogs, and data quality tools.
• Enable and support data integration and interoperability across various systems, applications, and data sources, based on customer current and future needs.
• Drive and deliver data analytics solutions that provide actionable insights and recommendations for business decision making and optimization for our customers.
• Ensure data privacy and security compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
• Manage solution releases, budgets, vendors, and contracts.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in data and analytics.
• Communicate and present data strategy, solutions, and results to senior management both internally and to customers.
• Act as a member of the leadership team, reporting to the VP of Services, and contributing to the overall solutions strategy and direction.

Key Skills Needed:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in data and analytics, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing data strategy and solutions that deliver business value and outcomes.
• Expertise in cloud data architecture, data governance, data engineering, integration and interoperability, data analytics, and data privacy.
• Strong understanding of database design and architecture principles, including relational and non-relational databases.
• Proficiency in Snowflake is a must. In addition, experience with other cloud databases like Databricks, Big Query, Redshift, a plus.
• Proficiency with ETL processes and data integration technologies, such as SQL, Python, and data integration tools like Informatica, Talend, Qlik, or similar is a must.
• Proficiency in various cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud (GCP)
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Experience of working with Data Streaming technologies like Kafka
• Knowledge of data modeling tools like ERwin, Visio, or similar
• Strong leadership, management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an extremely fast-paced environment.
