The Position:

The Billing Specialist serves in a capacity to invoice all clients in a timely and accurate manner. This position should be detail-oriented, ability to follow direction, have strong computer skills and excellent organizational skills. This position is expected to complete tasks with deadlines in a fast-paced environment with meticulous attention to detail and be responsive to all client requests. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements

• To routinely follow up with our clients on outstanding invoices and answer any questions they may have about the invoice. 
• Be coachable, able to follow directions and adapt to change.
• Maintain daily records with accuracy and high attention to detail in an organized manner.
• Be familiar with or learn NetSuite accounting system and understand the billing process start to finish. 
• Respond to client’s questions/comments in a timely manner.
• Serves as an expert and go -to person for all coding and billing processes.

Skills and Abilities:

• Minimum 3 years medical/healthcare billing and collections experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Team player and deadline oriented
• A keen eye for detail 
• An ability to work independently, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
