Position: Master Social Worker (MSW)

Introduction:
SAFREST Resources is assisting a premier hospice agency in Pennsylvania in their search for a compassionate and dedicated Master Social Worker (MSW). This role provides a unique opportunity to support patients and their families during critical times with emotional, social, and practical care needs.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate the psychosocial status of patients and families/caregivers to understand emotional and financial needs.
- Plan and administer therapeutic interventions that enhance patient comfort and overall well-being.
- Serve as an intermediary to assist families in understanding, accepting, and following medical recommendations.
- Help patients and families navigate health care systems to achieve optimal resource utilization.
- Maintain professional records that document all services provided and report on patient progress.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW), accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
- Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker in Pennsylvania (LCSW).
- At least two years of professional experience in a hospice or healthcare setting.
- Demonstrated skills in empathy, communication, and problem-solving.
- Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
