We are seeking an Accounts Payable Manager. In this role, you will manage the company’s bills and ensure all invoices are paid in a timely manner. Responsibilities will include receiving and preparing accounts payable invoices, handling expense reports, and assisting with audits. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, computer savvy, and has a strong understanding of accounting, payments, and budgets.
Responsibilities
- Reconciling credit card and bank statements
- Maintaining accurate general ledger journal entries
- Preparing accounts payable invoices
- Making payments promptly
- Preparing sales and use tax returns
- Providing support for audits
- Collaborating with other departments to handle account issues
- Preparing expense reports
- Manage the AP team of 5
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and accounting software
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and research skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail
