Kennedys, a Legal 500 and Chambers-ranked global firm serving insurers and the London market, is seeking a Junior to Mid-level Associate with solid defense litigation experience to join its Chicago office. Candidates should have a strong litigation background and a willingness to work in-office at least three days per week.

Required experience

• 2-5 years' defense litigation experience
• Ability to interact with clients, draft pleadings and discovery demands, conduct depositions, perform legal research and draft dispositive motions
• Excellent research, writing and communication skills
• Substantive familiarity with the rules and procedures of the Illinois Courts is a must
• Must be licensed to practice in Illinois
• Licensed to practice in other jurisdictions a plus, especially Indiana
