We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and support in various healthcare settings. Your primary responsibilities will include patient assessment, utilization management, case management, discharge planning, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Job Details:

• $50/hr - $53/hr
• 5x8's
• 8:00AM-4:30PM
• 40 hours a week
• Start Date: 6/17
• This is a 6 month contract

Duties:

- Perform comprehensive patient assessments to identify healthcare needs

- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians

- Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate patient care

- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding healthcare management

- Utilize electronic health records systems to document patient information accurately

Qualifications:

- Valid Registered Nurse license in New Jersey or Compact

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute care or related healthcare setting

- Strong knowledge of utilization management, case management, and discharge planning processes

- Excellent clinical assessment skills and ability to make sound judgments

- Proficient in using electronic health records systems

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team members
