THIS IS NOT A REMOTE JOB! We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for financial auditing, financial statement preparation, account analysis, and other accounting tasks. Forecasting is essential for this position. We need someone with the experience to be able to forcast for the company. We need someone with at least 5 years experience!

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accrual accounting principles and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and in a timely manner.

- Conduct financial audits to identify discrepancies and ensure the integrity of financial data

- Perform account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies or issues

- Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts

- Process accounts payable transactions and ensure timely payments

- Provide support during the annual audit process

- Assist with the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and controls

- Mentor junior accounting staff and provide guidance on best practices

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of financial auditing principles and practices

- Proficiency in financial statement preparation and analysis

- Solid understanding of accrual accounting concepts

- Ability to perform detailed account analysis and reconciliation

- Experience with accounts payable processes

- Strong financial acumen and attention to detail

- Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders

- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word), sage or net suite.

- Experience with balance sheet reconciliation
