Palm Beach Health Partners is Hiring a Floor Tech, Full Time Near Delray Beach, FL
Position Purpose:ThissplitpositionisresponsibletotheHousekeepingSupervisorfortotalfloorcareatthefacilityandassistingthe Maintenance Supervisor in maintenance and repair work.
Qualifications:
·High school diploma preferred.
·Training and/or expertise qualifying the individual to operate equipment and perform assigned duties within the nursing center.
Major Duties or Responsibilities:
•Receivesassignmentfromsupervisorandfollowsscheduletowash,seal,waxandbuffallfloorsinthefacility.
•Maintainsequipmentusedinperformingduties.
•Watersandcleanslargeplantsinbuilding.
•Keepsgroundsclearedofdebris.Sweepsfrontentrance andpatioareas,cleansashtrays,andensureoutside furniture is clean and usable.
•PerformsassignmentsfromtheMaintenanceSupervisorwhichcouldincludecheckingandreplacinglightbulbs, cleaning lint from dryers, vents and registers in patient rooms and other areas.
•Hosesoutgarbagecans.
•Assistswithperformingfiredrills.
•Washeswindowsandscreensoutsidethebuildingas assigned.
•Assistswithlubricatingpotty-chair,wheelchairs,showerchairs,wheeledGerichairs,drugcarts,etc.
•Utilizessuppliesandequipmentproperlyandwithoutwaste;Returnsanyunusedsuppliestoproperarea;Leaves soiled materials and trash in designated areas, and cleans carts and equipment.
•Performsanymiscellaneousworkassignmentsasmayberequired.
