The claims intern is responsible for inspecting properties in assigned territory.

Responsibilities• Physically inspect property for condition and exposure purposes.
• Reinspect properties as needed.
• Regular travel including overnight as required for the purpose of inspecting properties.
• Assist with inspecting property damage when needed following a catastrophe event.
• Communicate with the public regarding procedures, problems, and coverages.
• Report risk related situations to the Underwriting department.
• Participate in training and continuing education courses as requested or required.
• Use ladders occasionally to inspect property. Responsibilities
• Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Regular and predictable attendance is required.

RequirementsCurrently pursuing four-year degree
