Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and engage with children ages 5-12 years old in a safe and nurturing environment.
• Plan and lead age-appropriate activities, games, and crafts that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Ensure the well-being of campers by attending to their individual needs and maintaining a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
• Collaborate with fellow counselors and staff members to coordinate daily schedules and special events.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding camper progress, activities, and any concerns.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with children in a daycare, camp, or similar setting preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Enthusiastic, patient, and compassionate with a genuine interest in the well-being and development of children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Criminal background check.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.50 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
