Position Summary :
The Line Cook is responsible for supporting the Head Chef with
food preparations and food service in the kitchen at Happy Monkey by
Jean-Georges. The position is based out of Greenwich, Connecticut.
Requirements : High school diploma
High school diploma
and / or three years of restaurant experience preferred
Past experience in food
preparation, including the use of kitchen equipment and of cooking procedures
and methods
Able to multitask in
discrete time periods and to maintain a flexible schedule
Strong organizational skills
and attention to detail
Works well in a team
Attention to cleanliness
and health and safety protocols, including knowledge of applicable fire,
protocols (a Food Handlers Certificate or ServSafe Certification is a plus)
Compensation :
The base pay range for this position is $20-$22 per hour. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history / job-related knowledge, qualifications, and skills, etc.
