Overview:

The Penz Automotive Group is seeking a detail-oriented Warranty Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing warranty claims for a four-store automotive group and ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient processing.

Responsibilities:

- Process warranty claims accurately and efficiently
- Communicate with team members regarding warranty inquiries and claim status
- Coordinate with manufacturers to resolve warranty issues
- Maintain detailed records of warranty claims and resolutions
- Assist in developing and implementing warranty policies and procedures
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline warranty processes

- Reconciles all warranty receivables and works with accounting department to obtain payment

- Posts credits

- Verify criteria required by the manufacturer(s) under their policies

- Ensure 100% compliance with manufacturer requirements

- Follow up on outstanding claims and resubmit any claims that have been rejected in a timely manner

- Stay informed on all the manufacturer warranty policies and procedures

- Train Service Advisors on warranty process and documentation

- Train Technicians on warranty process and documentation

- Follow state and federal guidelines for warranty submissions

Experience:

- Proven experience in warranty administration or related field
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in using warranty management software or tools
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
