Open 7-days a week, our facility offers an arcade of games, bocce ball, bouncy houses, wall climbing, cornhole, darts, pizza, sushi, tapas, a vast beer wall and so much more.

Are you passionate about sports and children's development? We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our Lil’ Kickers Team as the Assistant Coordinator. In this role, you will help to oversee the Lil' Kickers program while also assisting in sports management tasks. The successful candidate may work between our two locations: San Jose, and Morgan Hill.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coaching – Teach young athletes (ages 4-14) the rules, techniques, and strategies of various sports such as Soccer, Basketball, Track & Field, and Volleyball.
• Sports Management – Assists in overseeing facilities, curriculum, scheduling, rosters, equipment & inventory, etc.
• Administrative Support – Greet customers, respond to inquiries, assist with scheduling, and provide additional programming support.
• Marketing - Assist in marketing requests to advertise overall department offerings.
• Market Analysis – Assist in partner prospecting and business development.
• Assist with the training of coaches based on the Lil’ Kicker's program requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards of all Lil’ Kickers spaces and equipment. Enforce safety standards and administer first aid when needed.
• Attend meetings with the coaching staff and Coordinator.

Skills

• Excellent Team Player
• 1-2 years of experience with recreation/athletics programming, specifically Lil’ Kickers
• Excellent computer skills (MS Office, Google Forms, HRIS/Payroll).
• Desire and ability to work with children, The ability to motivate, educate, develop, and inspire staff and customers
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Be able to work weekends consistently.
• Excellence in customer satisfaction skills to build rapport with all Plex customers & families,
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask
• Effective time-management skills

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Must be able to lift 40 pounds waist high.
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop, run and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
• Be able to work on your feet (standing, walking, and running) for an extended period of time.
• The Plex has intermittent noise and varying temperatures.
