Administrative Coordinator - Lil' Kickers

The Plex is your premier destination for family fun, event planning, sports, dining, parties, and more. Our 3 operating businesses offers 240,000 square feet of entertainment space under one roof where you will find everything you need for fun, fitness, family activities, food & beverage, parties, and social events. Open 7-days a week, our facility offers an arcade of games, bocce ball, bouncy houses, wall climbing, cornhole, darts, pizza, sushi, tapas, a vast beer wall and so much more.

We are looking for a full-time Lil’ Kickers Administrative Coordinator who will provide support to the Lil’ Kickers Coordinator and assist with the overall administration of the Lil Kickers program at The Plex. Candidates must be able to work on weekends. Working with the Coordinator, the successful candidate strives to provide a safe, fun, friendly, and structured. environment for all participants and guests. The enthusiastic candidate will help to create an enjoyable and welcoming experience for children and their families participating in the Lil’ Kickers program.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Greet customers and welcome children and their families as they arrive for class.

Respond to customer service inquiries (via phone, email, or in person) regarding the Lil’ Kickers program and responds in a timely manner.

Assist customers with any questions they have about ALL facility programming and scheduling.

Provide administrative support and receive delegated duties from the Coordinator.

Provide additional programming and support for the success of the Lil’ Kickers program.

Adjust and coordinate staff work schedules when needed, due to absences and last-minute time off requests

Manage staff schedules when Coordinator is offsite.

Work with Coordinator on marketing requests to advertise overall department offerings.

Provide hands on coaching for fun and innovative programming for participants.

Supervise and assist with the training of coaches based on the Lil’ Kicker's programing requirements.

Participate in monthly meetings with the Coordinator.

Attend weekly Saturday morning meetings with coaching staff and Coordinator. May run meetings when necessary.

Use the facility’s scheduling system. (DAYSMART)

Maintain the cleanliness of all Lil’ Kickers spaces and equipment.

Use and maintain equipment in a safe fashion and repair/replace as needed.

Manage department inventory effectively and order equipment/supplies as needed

Enforce safety standards, follow safety and emergency plan protocols, administering first aid when needed.

Maintain a current CPR Certificate.

Skills

Team Player

1-2 years of experience with recreation/athletics programming, specifically Lil’ Kickers

Desire and ability to work with children

Excellent computer skills (MS Office, Google Forms, ADP)

The ability to motivate, educate, develop, and inspire staff and customers

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Be able to work weekends consistently.

Excellence in customer satisfaction skills to build rapport with all Plex customers & families,

Detail-oriented and able to multitask

Effective time-management skills

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to lift 40 pounds waist high.

Be able to reach, bend, stoop, run and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.

Be able to work on your feet (standing, walking, and running) for an extended period of time.

The Plex has intermittent noise and varying temperatures.
