MSAD 6 is seeking a dynamic Special Education Teacher (Self-Contained Classroom) to join its instructional staff at Bonny Eagle Middle School located in Standish, Maine, for the 2024-2025 school year. The successful candidate will provide direct instruction to the students in the class according to their Individualized Educational Program.
Applicants for this position must have degree(s) required in major area of study; Maine Department of Education certification in content area (#282 endorsement); experience related to the instruction of students of similar age and in the subject area(s) to be assigned; demonstrated positive, professional relationships with students and colleagues; and evidence of a strong desire to work with school-age youth. 
This position will be filled when a successful candidate has been found. The salary and benefits are competitive and may be found on our website in the collective bargaining agreement between the MSAD 6 Board of Directors and the Saco Valley Teachers Association.
