Bonny Eagle High School is seeking a highly skilled College and Career Placement Coordinator to work with individual students and families on post-secondary planning during the 2024-2025 school year. Applicants must have extensive professional experience working with students and their families completing the college application process that includes developing a comprehensive list of schools and assisting in the development of a strong application presentation. It is expected that the College and Career Placement Coordinator will also work closely with students and families to guide and support them through the completion of the financial aid form and assist students and families with scholarship opportunities. 
 
The successful applicant must schedule activities that are informational for the school community about the college selection process, provide educational materials/publications that are accessible to the school community, be competent in the use of Naviance, arrange guest speakers, and develop and maintain a current website and associated post-secondary planning activities. The successful candidate will collaborate with a team of four school counselors and have support from an administrative assistant. 
Applicants for this position must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field; valid Maine Department of Education Criminal History Records Check (CHRC); Maine Department of Education certification with a #075 endorsement is preferred; college placement professional experience; demonstrated positive, professional relationships with students and colleagues; and evidence of a strong desire to work with school-age youth.
