Maine School Administrative District #6 is Hiring an English Teacher Near Buxton, ME
MSAD 6 is seeking a dynamic High School Alternative Ed Teacher to join its instructional staff at Bonny Eagle High School located in Standish, Maine, for the 2024-2025 school year. The successful candidate will have a strong background in creating inclusive and innovative learning environments for students who may benefit from a non-traditional approach to education; the ability to establish effective rapport with students; to motivate pupils to develop attitudes and knowledge needed to ensure that effective learning occurs for each child; and to respond to a wide range of inquiries from students' parents or guardians regarding instructional programs and student progress.
Applicants for this position must have degree(s) required in major area of study; Maine Department of Education certification in a core content area; experience related to the instruction of students of similar age and in the subject area(s) to be assigned; demonstrated positive, professional relationships with students and colleagues; and evidence of a strong desire to work with school-age youth.
