Office of the State Attorney, 9th Circuit is Hiring an IT Systems Administrator Near Orlando, FL

Job DescriptionIT Systems AdministratorThe Systems Administrator will assist in the seamless operation of the State Attorney's computer systems. Work involves installing, supporting, and maintaining Hardware/Software systems, and responding to service desk issues, problems, and requests. The System Administrator demonstrates a mix of technical skills and interpersonal abilities, excelling in high-pressure situations, attentive listening, effective user training, and tactfulness. They may perform workstation and printer management, network troubleshooting, AD account creation, and Office 365 administration. This individual will act as the primary point of contact for the service desk and after-hours emergency calls. This is an onsite position and reports to the Director of Information Technology or Supervisor.
General Duties And ResponsibilitiesNote: The below description may not be representative of all duties and responsibilities for this position.
  • Provide the initial and final points of contact for user problem tracking and resolution
  • Answer incoming phone calls from users and troubleshoot and resolve users' problems
  • Triage all IT related questions as they arise
  • Use specialized help desk support software to take control of end-users’ computers to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve complex issues
  • Assist with checking out digital recorders, temporary laptops, and other hardware
  • Install/troubleshoot software, to include Office 365 products, customer off the shelf software, Case Management, Windows 10/11, and other software as assigned
  • Troubleshoot networking issues to include connectivity to the LAN and wireless
  • Setup/troubleshoot computer hardware
  • Setup/troubleshoot printers
  • Setup/troubleshoot video teleconference equipment
  • Assist attorneys in trial at the courthouse with various technology-related issues
  • Document/update processes and procedures
  • Prepare and present training for new hires
  • Regularly update and maintain a detailed inventory of computer hardware and related assets
  • Configure and support office-issued iPhones
  • Create and remove user accounts
  • Troubleshoot and remotely support and/or travel between offices if needed
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Competencies

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information
Required Minimum Qualifications
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows Operating System, software, and hardware
  • Knowledge and experience using Windows Active Directory
  • Azure AD/Intune user/Device Management experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange/Email
  • Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office 365
  • Experience providing technical support
  • Experience servicing hardware and software
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Valid driver’s license
Preferred Training And Education
  • CompTIA A certification
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Two or more years of related experience
