Senior Workday Payroll Configurator

MAJUS is seeking a highly skilled Senior Workday Payroll Configurator to join our innovative team. This senior role is crucial in configuring and optimizing payroll functionalities to ensure efficient and effective operations across our enterprise. This position requires U.S. citizenship.

What is the mission?

As a Senior Workday Payroll Configurator, your mission is to spearhead the configuration and ongoing enhancement of payroll systems within Workday. You will utilize your deep expertise in payroll systems to support and lead improvements that meet MAJUS's strategic objectives, ensuring precise payroll management and compliance with our internal standards.

What will you do?

  • Lead Process Enhancements: Initiate and guide improvements in payroll processing and compensation management by collaborating with IT and financial management stakeholders.
  • Document and Train: Responsible for the comprehensive documentation of all process changes and updates. Develop and conduct targeted training sessions for end users to ensure a smooth transition and adaptation to new features and functionalities.
  • System Testing and Quality Assurance: Play a critical role in the testing phase of system upgrades and new implementations. Ensure that new functionalities are tested thoroughly before deployment.
  • Consultation and Support: Provide expert advice and support to other team members and stakeholders on best practices in payroll management within the Workday environment.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Actively troubleshoot and resolve any system or process issues that arise, ensuring minimal disruption to the payroll operations.

What skills do you possess?

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in HR, IT, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent professional experience also considered.
  • Workday Expertise: Extensive experience with Workday's HCM and payroll systems, including direct experience with configuration and system enhancements. Certification in Workday Payroll is preferred.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills with a proven track record in leading projects within large, complex environments. Agile and Scrum methodology experience is essential.
  • Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically about how technology can support business needs.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams and managing multiple stakeholder requirements.
  • Integrity and Confidentiality: Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive information with the highest level of integrity and confidentiality.

Place of Performance: Primarily remote, with the expectation of occasional in-person meetings at MAJUS locations.

Citizenship Status: Must be a U.S. citizen.

Job Type: Contractual role until December 31, 2024, with potential for extension based on performance and project requirements.
