The HR/Office Manager will be responsible for people management and project management at the Brentwood Office and work collaboratively with the San Diego HR/Office Manager in making strategic decisions and rolling out plans of action. Having a firm grasp on the fundamentals of human resources and people management, being well organized, and being able to multitask will be ideal attributes for aspiring candidates.
In addition to HR responsibilities, this HR/Office Manager will work alongside upper management on strategic planning and will have some leadership duties. The HR/Office Manager will carry out the daily activities of the Human Resource Department including recruitment, training & development, and disciplinary actions & terminations. Additionally, they will focus on delivering HR services that meet or exceed the needs of employees and enable business success, as well as ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and operating procedures.
The qualified candidate must have a seasoned knowledge of TN (and ideally CA) Wage & Hour, and all labor laws.
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for all or part of these areas:
The Human Resources Manager originates and manages HR practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.
The Human Resources Manager also creates and implements policies, and programs; and assists, advises and reports to upper management about Human Resources issues.
The Human Resources Manager is also responsible and accountable for the development of the Human Resources Department.
