In this role, you will work alongside the cleaning and maintenance leaders to assist with performing routine maintenance and repairs in a safe and efficient manner. In this role, you will also learn about, and assist with, planning and organizing preventive maintenance, as well as cleaning and repairing equipment, fixtures, furnishings and structures of the facility and grounds. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist the Facilities Maintenance Manager with the following:
Performing maintenance of building, grounds, and associated properties
Ensure proper working condition, care, and appearance of exterior and interior of building, equipment, landscaping, snow removal, surrounding areas, and other assets
Perform routine maintenance and timely repairs in the areas of painting, carpentry, plumbing, concession equipment, seating, and all building components
Continuously audit safety and security measures, ensuring and maintaining compliance with company, local, state, and federal guidelines
Assist with the supervision of cleaning crew; providing clear direction and timely follow-up with cleaning crew leads
If/when necessary, assist with managing vendor and contractor activities including scheduling of repair and maintenance, monitoring progress to ensure quality of work
Assists in building and maintaining a celebrated culture
Collaborate and communicate well with supervisors, peers, subordinates, guests and vendors regarding building/maintenance related matters

QUALIFICATIONS and/or EXPERIENCE:
One year or more of supervisory or commensurate leadership experience
Maintenance experience preferred
Good mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
Ability to fix things (small motor, drywall, simple faucet, toilets, etc.)
Ability to perform tasks with tools, ladders, and lifts in a safe and effective manner
Proven ability to positively contribute to a team and achieve results
Proven ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
This is a physically demanding role, which requires walking, climbing stairs, lifting 50 pounds or more, and operating equipment
Must be a self-starter with high level of initiative
First shift availability plus occasional nights and weekends, as needed
Must be able to work some holidays
