Midtown, a music and event venue located at Studio Park in downtown Grand Rapids, is dedicated to delivering an unparalleled live concert and guest experience, and it starts with a “Hello!” We are looking for friendly and fun-loving Box Office Hosts!

Midtown isn't your average music and event venue. From the front row to the back corner, every seat in Midtown has been optimized for world-class sound.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

Greet customers as they enter, and thank them as they leave
Check-in tickets, sell tickets
Monitor guest re-entry
Inform guests of venue policies
Maintain a neat, organized Box Office environment
Seat guests with ADA need
Set up guest seating according to ticket tiers
Assist with opening/closing tasks and side work as needed
Learn food and beverage menu
Run food and beverage when necessary
Pre-bus, clear tables, and wipe them down
Other duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS and/or EXPERIENCE:

1 years customer service experience preferred
Certifications for Food Safety and alcohol management required
Able to work within deadlines and under pressure
Can thrive in a fast-paced environment
Friendly, outgoing, and a team player
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
Ability to be on your feet and active for 8 or more hours, climb stairs, lift up to 30lbs, and use basic cleaning equipment
Must love people and live events!
