Description
- Manage inventory of materials, parts, and finished goods to maintain the required supply.
- Maintain records, replenish stock, and plan for future requirements based on orders, production schedules, and forecasts.
- Evaluate daily inventory on hand, count items received or shipped, and check against packing lists recording any discrepancies.
- Organize and maintain warehouse appearance and functionality.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and OSHA requirements.
- Establish warehouse standards and procedures.
- Review the timeliness of scheduled deliveries daily.
- Assist in loading installer trucks and track stock items to maintain inventory levels.
- Work on refining processes and suggest productivity improvements.
- Communicate and collaborate with team members.
- Help develop and implement a scanning system.
- Collaborate on building-related activities and warehouse layout optimization.
- Adhere to quality and customer service standards set by the company.
- Oversee recycling of metals.
- Supervise and support delivery process on main delivery day.
- Make site deliveries when needed.
- Assist the Production Operations Director.
- Operate forklift as necessary.
- Schedule routine inspections for company-owned vehicles.
- Manage tool rental process and ensure working quality of tools.
- Build partnerships with maintenance shops.
- Learn and become proficient with company CRM tool.
- Attend weekly Staff Meetings.
- Assist in refining workflows and touchpoints to maximize productivity.
- Work with the team to scale growth.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Florida driver’s license in good standing.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Forklift operation certification.
- Ability to create reports, analyze data, and provide feedback for company success.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Team player with good time-management skills.
- Knowledge of electric hand tools and the electrical industry preferred.
- Knowledge of space utilization and inventory techniques.
- Ability to learn new software.
- Basic math skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills.
- Bend, kneel, and crouch.
- Climb a ladder.
- Lift 25-50 lbs.
- Walk and/or stand for long periods.
- Work in all weather conditions.
- Drive a forklift.
Salary
$65,000 - $70,000 per year
