Front of House Assistant Manager — Anima Cucina Pasta and Wine Bar

Seeking an individual passionate about our vision of Anima Cucina. We are James Beard Chef nominated restaurant with commitment to bring excellent food and service to our community. We make everything from scratch and love food and beverage. This position is a full-time salaried position with an expectation to work approximately 40-45 hours per week.

Salary: $40,000

Shifts: 1:30 pm to 9:30 pm / 10:30 pm. We are open Monday through Saturday. Sundays closed. You will be scheduled five shifts per week.

Responsibilities:

• Studing, learning, and training servers in coffee bar, beer, wine, and dinner menu.
• Training staff in proper serving etiquette.
• Ensure service standards are being met at every table.
• Developing positive relationships with customers.
• Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and customer inquiries
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient flow of service
• Nightly closing and cleaning tasks.
• Covering serving shifts in case of a shortage. Cutting servers if slow. (tips added to salary)
• Updating printed menus, website menus, delivery menus, and POS menus.
• Communicating with social media manager for post stories.
• Ordering wine and beer. Tasting new wine for menu changes.
• Working with Chef and General Manager to create an experience for every guest.
