CHI St. Alexius Health is a regional health network with a tertiary hospital in Bismarck, the system also consists of critical access hospitals (CAHs) in Carrington, Dickinson, Devils Lake, Garrison, Turtle Lake, Washburn and Williston and numerous clinics and outpatient services. CHI St. Alexius Health manages four CAHs in North Dakota - Elgin, Linton, and Wishek, as well as Mobridge Regional Medical Center in Mobridge, S.D. Assumes primary responsibility for overseeing, coordinating and facilitating comprehensive care delivery in all clinical areas during designated shifts. Serves as in-house administration after business hours and on weekends/holidays. Assumes delegated nursing administrative responsibilities in the absences of the director and/or Vice President. Assist directors in providing resources and monitors the productivity of the team. Serves as the communication link between the care team and directors. Participates in operationalizing CHI Health Strategic Initiatives and serves as a role model for ethical management. Supports a professional practice philosophy within a shared governance system that supports the hospital mission and nursing vision.

Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required OR must be currently enrolled and complete Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
Required Licensure and Certifications
Current RN licensure in the State of North Dakota or licensure in a compact state. License must be in the state of your residence.
Basic Life Support is required upon hire. Acceptable credentialing bodies and certifications include the following: American Heart Association: Basic Life Support.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification required.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training3 to 5 years of clinical experience required.
