What we are looking for:
We are seeking a part-time Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for processing invoices, issuing payments, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end closing procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:- Coding and processing invoices for payment
- Reconciling vendor statements
- Issuing payments via check or electronic transfer
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records
- Assisting with month-end closing procedures
- Resolving any discrepancies or issues with vendors
- Providing support to the accounting team as needed
- Prior experience in accounts payable or bookkeeping
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
