The Engineering Manager will oversee all aspects of engineering projects with an emphasis on the expansion of platform capabilities, user experience, and alignment with business needs. We are looking for a leader who brings deep Engineering Management experience with a proven ability to understand the intersection of data, technology, and business operations to deliver a world-class product.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage development team of 6 software engineers responsible for key engineering projects. Work with other department heads to define and execute business strategy.
- Incorporate business goals as directed by executive management and drive governance that balances long-term growth, short-term opportunities, platform stability, and expansion of product capabilities. Manage day-to-day data and product lifestyle.
- Develop metrics and dashboards for monitoring data processing focusing on quality, speed, and accuracy.
- Manage career progression for team members to include hiring, performance reviews, salary decisions, mentoring and coaching.
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related, and 1 year experience in job offered or 1 year as Software Engineer, or Bachelor of Science Degree in the same fields plus 5 years of post-baccalaureate progressive experience in field which includes 1 year in job offered or 1 year as Software Engineer, or any other qualifying combination of education, training, or experience.
