Position Summary

We are looking for a motivated Paralegal to join our dynamic team. The Paralegal’s responsibilities will include drafting legal documents adn summarizing laws and regulations. The ideal candidate must possess excellent written and communication skills. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the company in legal and compliance issues related to the business
  • Assist with drafting, reviewing, and administration of legal documents and business forms to ensure compliance with legal requirements
  • Work with internal customers and external partners to obtain documents and necessary information relevant to corporate matters or legal demands
  • Perform legal, factual, and records research
  • Create new entities, manage corporate and business and licensing filings
  • Organize and maintain all of the company’s legal documents, such as contracts corporate books, and other relevant documents
  • Develop compliance strategies or programs for the company based on state and federal laws
  • Monitor internal control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies
  • Revise procedures, reports etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues
  • Conduct quarterly and annual reviews to monitor adherence to rules and regulations
  • Educate company on standards, policies and work-related laws and regulations
  • Provide legal support and administration as necessary

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies
  • Paralegal certification is required
  • 5 years of paralegal experience
  • Thorough knowledge of legal principles, practices and legal terminology
  • Thorough knowledge of legal research techniques
  • Investigative mind and strong research skills
  • Fundamentals of legal writing
  • Experience with corporate governance issues and corporate secretarial duties
  • Knowledge of rules and regulations pertaining to businesses
  • Proficient understanding of business sensitivities and confidentiality

  • Excellent communication skills to articulate legal jargon in simple terms
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in legal documentation, contracts, and other legal correspondences
