We are seeking talented audio-visual technical folks with skills ranging from beginner to advanced.

Positions include Technical Directors, Technical Coordinators, and Audio-Visual Technicians.

In-person interviews to be held on May 14th & 15th in the Houston market. Prescreening interviews begin immediately.

RESPONSIBILITIES (GENERAL)

• Speaking with customers, teammates, and hoteliers in a positive, friendly, and enthusiastic manner.
• Always maintaining and protecting all assets from damage, misuse or possible theft.
• Sets examples for staff in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational, customer service and leadership skills, and work habits.
• Maintain high level of customer service with staff to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
• Demonstrates ability to communicate, interact and cooperate with all company employees.
• Build upon the AVmedia Culture, Core Values and Core Purpose by being always a role model. Forge excellent relationships with Family members and key customers whenever possible.

Requirements

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Needed skillsets will vary based on position.
• Basic knowledge of AV (flipcharts, microphones, laptops, breakout projection, screens, static lighting, audio mixers and speakers. etc).
• Knowledge of intelligent lighting, networking, advanced switching, HD, laser projection a plus. 
• Background in AV, hospitality events, and/or hotel environment is preferred.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• The candidate needs to be available days, nights, weekends, and holidays, and be able to bend down, kneel and squat to work on the floor if needed in a time sensitive situation to support the AVmedia operations family.
• If this position requires driving a company vehicle, you must be in possession of a valid driver’s license. A clean driving record over the past three (3) years is required.
