Job Summary:
As a Front Office Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical offices. Your primary responsibilities will include checking patients in, processing payments, and loading demographic information into the eClinicalWorks Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. The position demands a friendly demeanor, exceptional organizational skills, and a strong understanding of insurance processes. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced medical environment and are adept at multitasking.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Patient Check-In: Greet and check-in patients efficiently and with a warm and welcoming attitude.
2. Payment Processing: Handle patient payments, provide receipts, and ensure accurate documentation.
3. EMR Data Entry: Input demographic and insurance information into the eClinicalWorks EMR system with precision.
4. Multitasking: Manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, ensuring attention to detail.
5. Customer Service: Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with patients and their families.
6. Insurance Knowledge: Demonstrate a strong understanding of insurance processes, verifying coverage, and addressing patient inquiries.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Front Office Receptionist or in a similar role within a medical office setting.
2. Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
3. Excellent multitasking abilities and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
4. Friendly and approachable with exceptional customer service skills.
5. Proficient in using electronic medical record systems, preferably eClinicalWorks.
6. Knowledge of insurance processes and procedures.
7. Willingness to travel between multiple locations (negotiable).
