Buffalo Groupe’s Vice President of Client Strategy & Service is a golf focused strategic integrated marketing leader who is responsible for driving growth for their teams, clients and the agency. They are trusted advisors to their clients and focus on leading integrated accounts through strategic planning and flawless multi-channel execution to meet client goals. They are change agents within Buffalo who seek to grow and better the agency and its’ clients through innovative strategies, ideas and solutions. 

Responsibilities: 

  • As a member of the agency leadership team, work directly with the Managing Director and peers to support the vision, culture and goals of the agency
  • Oversee a portfolio of large, multi-service (primarily) golf focused clients serving as the senior strategic lead integrating expertise and partnership from the broader Buffalo network which includes building strong client relationships, proactively delivering counsel to clients, leading strategic plans with multiple services, and managing team to deliver high-quality deliverables against defined goals
  • Lead brand strategy and integrated marketing planning for clients
  • Manage teams of subject matter experts with ultimate responsibility for account health and execution of plan deliverables, as well as team development and individual employee performance and development goals
  • Build and nurture client relationships and grow business by providing leadership, direction and strategic guidance to colleagues, day-to-day teams and client contacts
  • Develop an understanding of client partners’ businesses and seek opportunities, where appropriate, to upsell and recommend other Buffalo Groupe services
  • Leadership in the agency’s approach to client strategy and service contributing to the financial health of the agency through top-line revenue generation, proper scoping of account work, management of account teams to ensure cost-effective delivery and overall agency profitability
  • Establish innovative agency approaches, best practices and ways of working to elevate our work and client deliverables
  • Ongoing evaluation of marketing initiatives and direct any necessary adjustments to achieve optimal performance and attainment of KPIs for the clients and agency
  • Assist with business development initiatives, either by directly participating in pitches or by feeding new opportunities to the Business Development team
  • Play key role as mentor and cultivator of an agency culture that aligns with our company values (kindness, clarity and courage) and is welcoming, fun, collaborative and focused on doing excellent work for great brands

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10 to 15 years of experience in marketing, golf experience required
  • Experience leading teams and interacting with executive-level clients
  • Proven track record of leading data-driven, integrated marketing strategies and planning
  • Strong understanding of all integrated marketing disciplines and deliverables - strategic planning, creative ideation and production, social media and editorial content, influencer marketing, PR, digital marketing and data/research - and how they contribute to a strategic, integrated plans that delivers on client goals 
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills, along with the proven ability to consistently make sound judgments and effectively motivate and manage teams
  • Excellent writing, editing and presentation-development skills; project management skills; and consultative skills
  • Ability to command a room as a dynamic speaker with knowledgeable credibility
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, strong leadership qualities and a collaborative attitude
  • A creative problem-solver looking to contribute new ideas and implement solutions to advance the agency and its clients
  • Accountability and a drive to achieve results

Established in 2019, Buffalo Groupe is a full-service marketing agency that authentically serves the escape industries of golf, outdoor recreation, travel, lifestyle, real estate and active sport.

Position: Remote, with opportunity for in office experience in Charleston, SC (HQ)

Travel: Ability to travel based on client meetings and events (10-20%)

Compensation: Range of $125,000-$135,000 per year, based on experience
