Buffalo Groupe is looking for an SEO Manager. The SEO Manager will work closely with the Head of SEO, copywriters and other team members to ensure that our SEO clients are obtaining positive results.
We are looking for an analytical and perceptive professional who is a skilled communicator and able to collaborate with various teams. Current knowledge of SEO practices and techniques is essential to this role. The individual must be highly motivated in order to quickly learn all facets of this new and rapidly growing department, and be willing to take direction from senior team members.
Salary Range: $60,000 to $70,000 annually - based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute SEO-focused content strategies
- Develop and execute successful SEO strategies
- Conduct keyword research to guide content teams
- Optimize website content, landing pages and blog content
- Perform site audits
- Approve SEO content created by SEO Copywriters
- Manage SEO Copywriters
- Understand technical SEO issues
- Optimize website content, landing pages and blog content
- Direct off-page optimization projects (e.g. link-building)
- Collect data and report on traffic, rankings and other SEO aspects
- Keep abreast of SEO and integrated marketing trends
Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of experience as SEO Manager or similar role
- 1-2 years of experience in planning and implementing a successful SEO strategy
- Proven success in SEO
- Expertise with relevant tools (e.g. Semrush, AHRefs, Screaming Frog, Moz, etc.) and web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, GA4, etc.)
- Proven experience as SEO Manager, SEO Content Strategist or similar role
- Knowledge of standard and current SEO practices
- Experience with SEO reporting
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Analytical mindset with numerical aptitude
- BSc/BA in Marketing, Business or related field
- Golf knowledge or experience highly preferred
