JOB DUTIES:

• Promotes and sells tennis shop merchandise.
• Assists members and guests with tennis shop purchases.
• Records all charges.
• Assists in Court assignments for member and league play.
• Stocks merchandise when necessary.
• Supplies towels, cups and ice to members and guests and takes towels to and from laundry area.
• Changes displays when instructed.
• General housekeeping duties in and around shop.
• Keeps storage area tidy.
• Reports all complaints to the Tennis shop Manager or Director.
• Attends staff meetings.
• Assists in league play, special events and tournament organization as assigned.
• Regular and prompt attendance.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)
• Experience in the Sport of Tennis preferred by not required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required as well as proper phone etiquette, attention to detail, excellent organizational skills.
• Interact professionally with other employees, members, and guests.
• Social media savvy, extremely helpful.

Physical Requirements

• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule
• Must be able to lift push and pull up to 30 lbs without restrictions
• Must be available for emergency and scheduled work requirements on evenings, weekends or holidays

Compensation/Pay Scale

• Based on experience

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.50 - $12.50 per hour
