This position assists the management with the overall activities of the hotel pool area, including the Recreation staff.

Responsibilities include:

· Enforce pool/hotel rules and policies in a friendly and courteous manner.

· Provide excellent service to hotel and pool guests.

· Monitor pool area to ensure safety, possible disturbances and undesirable persons. Report issues to the Security Department if necessary.

· Secure pool area at the gate entrance to ensure non-guests are not entering into the pool.

· Ensure no outside food and beverage is being brought into the pool area.

· Ensure all pool patrons are either hotel guests or day pass holders.

· Assist injured guests and apply first aid as necessary until professional help arrives.

This is a seasonal position, with potential to turn permanent based on hotel openings at end of season.

​Qualifications:

· Previous experience in supervising pools/recreation staff or other related fields preferred.

· Lifeguard certification a plus, or willingness to become certified for the job.

· Ability to develop and maintain effective operating and control processes to attain maximum operating efficiency while ensuring adherence to established guest satisfaction criteria.

· Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.

• Must be able to handle multiple tasks and able to make appropriate decisions in difficult situations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work and stand inside and outside, sometimes in extreme heat.

· Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays; and stable work history required.
