Job Description

SunMED Medical is looking for a compression garment fitter to join our team at our NY branch - A Personal Touch Boutiques, as a full-time employee. The ideal candidate will work to develop positive relationships with therapists, doctors and patients.

Responsibilities

• Schedules fitting appointments efficiently in order to accomplish as many fittings as possible each day. Fittings will be conducted either on site at the boutique or at local clinics.
• Is familiar with compression products and assists therapists/customers/patients with product selection.
• Measures patients for Lymphedema products, completing the correct forms based on the products ordered, to provide to the inside team.
• Ensures a proper fit for each patient. Works with the inside team when a return is necessary.
• Obtains prescriptions and additional paperwork when asked.
• Helps to target opportunities for new referral source relationships.
• Keeps appointments with referral sources and patients, is on time and communicates with referral sources/patients/supervisor when delayed or when attendance isn’t possible.

Qualifications

• Prior Compression Fitting Experience preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Knowledge of the various compression garment manufacturers and their products.
• Exceptional customer service skills, over the phone and in person, with our customers and employees.
• Ability to build rapport with customer and personalize their experience.

Pay will be commensurate with experience; experience will be taken into consideration with the final offer of pay.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
