Prairie St. John's has been providing services for children, adolescents, and adults to address behavioral health and substance use challenges since 1997. Prairie offers inpatient hospitalization, day treatment, intensive outpatient services, MAT and supportive housing. Accredited by The Joint Commission, we are the largest, freestanding behavioral health facility in the region. More than 5,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Prairie St. John's.

Maintenance Technician/Painter Job Duties:

• Ability to repair and provide maintenance of plumbing, heating and building related systems.
• Performs scheduled and non-scheduled preventive maintenance, responding to dispatched general maintenance calls, painting, and troubleshooting/repairing repair ticket items.
• Patching/Painting: Repair any wall damages as well as repainting surfaces.Prefer professional painting experience, including required wall repairs/prep.
• Carpentry: Perform simple carpentry tasks like repairing doors, windows, or cabinetry.
• Door Hardware Replacement/Repair: Replace or fix door handles, locks, hinges, and other hardware.
• Plumbing: Minor service, repair, or replacement.
• Electrical: Minor service, repair, or replacement.
• Attention to detail
• Strong customer service skills
