Ontex Operations USA LLC is Hiring a Line Lead - 3rd Shift Near Stokesdale, NC

We distribute in more than 110 countries through leading retailer private labels, as well as under our own brands.
Job Title: Line Lead
Schedule: Sunday - Friday, from 11pm - 7:30am
Training the first few weeks will be on 1st shift (7am - 3:30pm)
On July 7th, Ontex will be transitioning to running 24-7
The new schedule will be 7pm - 7am, 2-2-3

Job Purpose
- Promote the 0 accident culture
- Promote the continuous improvement culture
- Lead and coach the shift team to deliver the KPIs
- Drive elimination of losses/waste
- Drive the team in shift to deliver the Manufacturing KPIs
Job Responsibilities
- Strive for 0 accident.
- Responsible for 12-20 Operators/Packers/Process Technicians and for the 4-7 production lines of 1 Assistant Manufacturing Unit Manufacturing.
- Promote shop floor transformation.
- Coach Operators in new mindset and behaviors.
- Develop the technical skills of Operators.
- Manage the technical means and the resources to deliver the KPIs.
- Support Operators to operate efficiently the lines and to solve the issues popping up.
- Participate directly to changeovers, repairments and preventive maintenance.
- Ask support to the Shifts Support Technicians when needed, setting priorities to their interventions.
- Inform the Process Engineer about process issues and improvement ideas.
- Inform the Operations Maintenance Coordinator about technical issues and improvement ideas.
- Identify opportunities and create solutions for elimination of losses/waste.
- Exchange good practices with the Team Leaders of the other shifts.

- AMU Manager, Process Engineer, Operations Maintenance Coordinator, direct reports, Maintenance Shifts Support Technicians, Changeover Technicians, Quality Process Auditor
Educational Requirements
- Technical High School (or equivalent by experience)
Prior Work Experience Requirements
- 5 – 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Technical Skills Requirements
- Knowledge of lean principles (i.e. waste identification, OEE and limit analysis, SMED)
- Understands how to drive performance improvement across working groups to achieve high performance.
